Cambridge: FCE, CAE, CPE

The most frequently taken and widely recognized Cambridge exams are FCE, CAE, and CPE. They assess English language proficiency starting from the upper-intermediate B2 level up to full proficiency at the C2 level. They are designed for individuals who need to document their language skills for employment or study purposes in countries where English is widely spoken. They are honored worldwide and universally recognized in Poland.

TOEFL – Test of English as a Foreign Language

This is a comprehensive exam evaluating proficiency in English within an academic context across 4 language skills: reading, listening, writing, and speaking. The TOEFL iBT is administered internet-based and includes a Speaking section that is recorded and assessed online. TOEFL is a prerequisite for admission to most English-speaking universities worldwide (e.g., in the USA, Canada, the UK, and EU countries). TOEFL scores are recognized as proof of a candidate’s language level by international and government institutions, as well as scholarship programs.

IELTS International English Language Testing System

An internationally recognized test assessing the English language proficiency required to study or work in countries where English is the language of communication. It is used as a benchmark for English communication skills by educational, government, and professional institutions in over 120 countries worldwide. IELTS tests the language used not only in office or academic environments but also in daily life, and is available in two versions: Academic and General Training.

EFB English for Business (LCCI)

A practical business exam conducted at 4 levels of proficiency, from A2 to C1, assessing the ability to communicate in a professional environment within the world of trade, industry, and business. LCCI certificates are a so-called “passport to employment” – they are recognized in Poland and other EU countries by employers, commercial and financial institutions, consulting firms, etc., as proof of professional English proficiency.

TOLES Test of Legal English Skills

A specialized English language exam designed for lawyers, legal professionals, translators, and law students. It is conducted at 3 levels: Foundation, Higher, and Advanced. It serves as confirmation of proficiency in formal language and current legal terminology.

GMAT Graduate Management Admission Test

A specialized exam in English, taken alongside a language test (such as TOEFL) for admission to English-taught postgraduate programs in business and management, particularly MBA programs. It comprehensively tests knowledge from high school and undergraduate studies in mathematics, logic, and analytical thinking.

Test of English for International Communication (TOEIC)

TOEIC is an international English exam that comprehensively tests English language skills in the workplace.
The test questions are based on authentic expressions and language forms used in professional situations such as meetings, reports, telephone conversations, travel, bank visits, etc.
TOEIC scores are recognized as confirmation of a candidate’s language level and qualifications by international and government institutions, as well as scholarship programs.
